Warranty

ProStar, LLC hereinafter referred to as manufacturer warrants each new trailer to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one year from date of original sale. The original or copy of the original Invoice must be provided by the customer when a claim is made.

Warranty Covers

Manufacturer makes no warranty with respects to tires, wheels, brake system, axle assemblies, hitches, paint, lights, decking, or other accessories not manufactured by the manufacturer, as these items are usually warranted specially by the respective Manufacturers of these items. (Normal wear will not be replaced, due to wear).

Limitations

Manufacturer's liability and obligation is limited to repair or replacement of the product provided the purchaser returns the claimed defective product to the manufacturer, or authorized distributor, with transportation charges prepaid, and examination by manufacturer discloses the product is defective.

Warranty Void

This warranty does not cover said product, which has been repaired or altered outside of the factory of the manufacturer in any way so as to in the judgment of the manufacturer affect the stability, reliability, or performance of the product. This warranty does not cover damage or product failure caused by accident, misuse, negligence, tampering, overloading, improper attachment or improper maintenance. Loading in excess of gross vehicle load ratings stated on the certificate plate will invalidate any and all warranties. This warranty excludes any and all liability for consequential or incidental damages.

Transportation Costs Excluded

Transportation of any trailer to and from your dealer or an approved repair facility shall be the responsibility of the trailer owner. ProStar shall not be held responsible for any such cost.

Disclaimers

This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties and representation, expressed or implied, and all other obligations or liabilities on the part of the manufacturer. No one, including an authorized ProStar dealer is authorized to make further or additional warranties on behalf of ProStar, LLC.

Warranty Acceptance

Upon the purchase of a ProStar trailer, the purchaser agrees to the manufacturer's Limited Warranty, which is accompanied with the purchase of the trailer. The purchaser agrees that he/she has been informed of the limited warranty & claim procedures and will perform all responsibilities under this Limited Warranty.

Warranty Claim Procedure

  1. Within five (5) Days after discovering a problem with your ProStar trailer, return the trailer for inspection to the ProStar Dealer where you bought the trailer.
  2. If your dealer cannot repair the problem free of charge and you want to file a claim under this Warranty, your local dealer must send to ProStar a letter either faxed or mailed with all the required information, within (10) days of your discovery of the defect.
  3. ProStar will acknowledge such receipt of claim by fax or mail to the dealer and to the claimant and will respond as soon as possible, but no later than thirty (30) days after receipt of the claim.
  4. Any defective part(s) must be sent by prepaid freight to ProStar. In order to qualify the claimant for the replacement or reimbursement under this limited warranty. Any defective parts must be returned to ProStar within 30 days from date of approval to qualify for reimbursement.
  5. ProStar, LLC will not reimburse any claimant for any adjustment or repair of a ProStar trailer without written approval by ProStar, LLC.
  6. ProStar, LLC reserves the right to not pay unreasonable cost for replacement or repair of defects in ProStar trailers and may, at it discretion, establish reasonable reimbursement for any authorized work performed under the terms of this Limited Warranty.
  7. When required, photos of defective part(s) or the actual part(s) may have to accompany the warranty approval before payment can or will be made.
  8. ProStar, LLC HERE MAKES NO OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION ON THE FACE OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.
WARNING DO NOT MODIFY PROSTAR PRODUCTS. INSTALL ONLY ON SPECIFIED VEHICLES IN GOOD CONDITION. PROSTAR TOWING PRODUCTS ARE DESIGNED TO TOW TRAILERS. USE ONLY FOR THIS PURPOSE. Do not attach cargo carriers, motorcycle carriers, boat hoists, or coupler alignment devices. Do not extend the original structure. Do not use to pull or push the towing vehicle. Do not use as a jacking point. Do not attach anything with or in place of the ball. DO NOT TOW MULTIPLE TRAILERS. Towing one trailer behind another may cause severe instability and loss of control. FAILURE TO HEED WARNINGS AND FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN VEHICLE CRASH, PROPERTY DAMAGE AND PERSONAL INJURY. DON'T OVERLOAD ANY PART OF YOUR TOWING SYSTEM Proper and Regular Trailer Maintenance Proper and Regular maintenance of your trailer will help insure longer use. To help you with you maintenance, we suggest the following:
  1. Use correct ball size for trailer hitch
  2. Lug nuts should be torqued regularly
  3. Proper tire pressure should be maintained at all times
  4. Wheel bearing should be checked at least once a year
  5. Check all electrical connections regularly
  6. Check upon each hook up that all lights are operational
  7. Brakes should be checked and adjusted at least once a year
  8. Maintain proper fluid levels
  9. Load on trailer should be evenly distributed.
  10. Your trailer should be inspected and serviced regularly for optimal life of trailer
